In His Father's Foot Steps- News Paper Article
Summary: Report on a recent newspaper article about Book II of the Odyssey about Telemakhos called, "An Assembly to Expel the Suitors."
Telemakhos rose up in the morning, just like he usually would. But instead of helping his mother with tasks or trying to keep the household together, he drew his tunic and his mantle, slung on a sword belt and a new-edged sword, tied his smooth feet into good rawhide sandals and left his room, a god's brilliance upon him. He planned to go to the assembly in which his father usually attended on a regular basis. This was no ordinary task. Telemakhos was planning on filling in the shoes of his father and making his distresses known to the entire assembly. To him, this was a chance of a lifetime, to others, such as Atinoos, this was a disruption of daily life.
