Summary: How the world would be without competition.
If society were to be deprived of competition, society's people would no longer be able to use their talents or gifts. I disagree with having competition being taken away. Being competitive is a characteristic of humans and many other animals. Competition is part of nature. Society would be deeply affected unfavorably if competition were eliminated, given that technology would be slowed, our pride would disappear, and our education would be changed.
Not only would there be no competing with other people, but you could not compete with yourself. People compete with themselves to see if they can do better at something than when they did the last time they tried. But if there were no competition, you wouldn't be allowed to try harder and achieve more than what you did the last time you tried.
