Abortion is Wrong
"Abortion refers to the premature expulsion of a human fetus either in a naturally spontaneous way, such as through a miscarriage, or by artificially induced methods" (Plowman 188). "Abortions have been performed since before the U.S. became a nation," (Tushnet 164) Abortion has been legal in the United States since 1973 when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in the case of Roe v. Wade. "Abortion involves the killing of life and holds deep emotional, spiritual, and moral consequences," (Dr. Rachel Simon Kumar). Although it might seem like the easiest thing to do, abortion is a controversy that has been going on for ages, it should be against the law, has contradicting procedures, and can have negative effects on the mother.
