Everyday technological advancements are made that bring us closer to cloning, and this topic has become one of much debate. It has been argued that the manipulation of human and animal DNA for the benefit of mankind is not only appropriate but nearly avoidable in the near future by many advocates pf genetic engineering. However other scientists and religious figures have argued that the manipulation of DNA for any cause is not only amoral and unethical, but also very dangerous. They argue that cloning should be illegal and avoided in any case, which in fact it should be.
