Currently, one of the most distinguished movements in America is the question of abortion and whether it is a moral procedure. This question of morality took center stage in our country back in the 1960's and still remains an immense controversy today. Should women have the right to have abortion? Or should the law prohibit abortions because they are immoral and impose on the rights of the unborn? First, the word abortion needs to be clarified: "the term abortion applies to any premature expulsion of a fetus from a woman's womb" (Rovner).
