In Maya Angelou's poem "The Pusher" has seven stanzas and sixty lines. In stanza 1-2 she describes a black man as being frightful to a white man, known in the poem as honky. Throughout the rest of the poem she talks about this man selling illegal drugs. In stanza 4, she says "he stashed, he stands stashed" this shows that the person is stashing something standing next to Martin Luther King's Library. She also shows that the person is induced in some illegal business when she says "Breathing slaughter on the Malcolm X institute".
