The United State's Foreign Policy
Foreign policy is the diplomatic policy of a nation in its interactions with other nations. The foreign policy of the United States has changed throughout time and has made a huge impact in our history.
For a lot of the United States history, we have tried to abstain from political or economic relations with other countries. This policy is called isolationism. On of the first instances of this was when the U.S. passed the Monroe Doctrine, which warned Europeans not to meddle with nations in the western hemisphere.
