A recurring problem we see in the world today is abuse of what we call "universal right." A universal right is something that every human being is entitled to, be it clean water, food, electricity, or even monumental things like the ability to raise a family or live one's life without interference, even freedom from murder. All these conflicts can generally be found in most developing countries today, especially in the Middle East and West Africa. Sometimes the lack of efficient government, or dwindling natural resources, even dirty water can precipitate an erosion of any standard set of laws in place. But no matter where you look, there is always a universal standard of rules that are, or should be, abided by everyone. I believe that there is certain inalienable rights that everyone is permitted, rights which should be enforced fully.
