The American dream is one in which the people of American can have an easy life, one filled with conveniences, money to spend, and not a great deal of work. The 1920's were a decade that personified these ideals. They also presented great challenges to it. During the 1920's we saw the rise of the KKK, the lack of job security, along with many events that put together presented a great challenge to the dream.
