They say that the British helped India a lot. But I think that the British didn't have a good influence on India. It is true that the British built modern cities with modern things inside them. But these offices were probably not for the people of India to "enjoy." Also, some people say that the British weren't the cause of the poverty in India. They say that a fast growing population is to blame. I disagree. There is no real proof that it is true. And finally, many say that the British brought modern medicine to India. But, some information indicates that modern medicine was restricted in India.
