One of the most notorious assassinations in our history was the death of John Lennon by Mark David Chapman on December 8, 1980. Chapman was a depressed man who had mental problems and unfortunately John was the vent for his anger. John Lennon, member of the popular group, The Beatles, and a solo song artist influenced many people with his ideas. He had a wife and a son who loved him.
