I believe that teens and children should not be charged as an adult on crimes. My reason for this statement is because when an adult commits a crime the sentence is more of a harsh penalty. Why? Because teenagers haven't lived most of their lives and instead of keeping them confined behind bars for life they should give them a more lighter sentence so they can still live there life as a child or teen. And also when a child commits a criminal act it goes on to there record so if they want a highly positional job it would be very hard for them to get it because of past offenses with the law and that is very unfair knowing you're a young boy or girl and you lost the chance to do big things for yourself in the job field at such a young age.
