Technology of World War II
The fighting in Northern Africa--Italy and Germany against Britain--was very different from the fighting during the World War I. There was a better use of tanks, airplanes, submarines, and battleships. Because Africa is so far away from the homeland of the fighting European powers, an air force and navy had become increasingly critical in the battle, both for mobilization of troops and supplies, as well as actual attacks against the enemy. Therefore, the question remains--Who had a better collective military? The Allies or the Axis? Each has its own individual strength, however only one force can reign supreme in this war.
