The Real Threat: Bush or Hussein?
Summary: This essay deals with the Iraqi war and also provides my opinion on the war.
There is much questioning on the ground on which the war was declared. Was there any apparent reason for Bush to be concerned about Saddam Hussein? Americans declare that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant, who rules by the most brutal and ruthless means possible. Support for the U.N. sanctions declined throughout the international community and was held together only by American demand. The Catholic Church condemned the sanctions, as well as countless other religious and human-rights organizations. While Bush seems to think that war is the best answer to the conflict in Iraq, it is evident that this is not the right solution.
Many Americans are in support of the Bush administration and the decisions that Bush has made about the war in Iraq. People firmly believe what Bush is doing is for a noble cause and they look at him as a liberator of Iraqi people...
