Since the attacks of September 11, 2001, on America, this nation's society has learned many new lessons. One lesson includes a new insight on the freedom that American citizens enjoy. Americans have learned that this freedom comes at a price as it has provided access for terrorists to invade this country. In an effort to eliminate some of the avenues available to these terrorists, American society must give up some freedoms in exchange for safety. To achieve these goals, new anti-terrorist measures must be established to combat terrorism. Therefore, more widespread control of the Internet, mobile industry, and traditional telephone industries could offer potential ways to combat terrorism.
