“These lessons I took to my heart each day. Another might have drawn other lessons from the same words, but these were what I needed then. I have so fully consecrated myself to God that sometimes I think he does not let any of me be lost; even my sins and mistakes I have used to warn others, and through them I have been led to thank him most fervently that he has not left me to greater mistakes, greater sins.
