Its most recent series (August 12-September 22) presented highlights from the careers of the Brothers Mankiewicz: Herman J., best-remembered for his extensive work on Citizen Kane, and Joseph L., who enjoys the distinction of being the only winner of successive Oscars for writing and direction—A Letter to Three Wives (1949) and All About Eve (1950), the film that holds the record for Academy Award nominations (14).
