There is a lot of sweet music in the kooky musical, "Shelter."… Whether this will prove enough remains to be seen. Certainly the show is very likable….

Gretchen Cryer's book is too fantastic in its story line—its central situation of a man living on a TV set is unbelievable—which definitely detracts from the wry humor of the writing.
