During his 15-year career with the National Football League, Reggie White dominated the league as one of its most ferocious defensive players. White struck terror into many an offense with his strength, speed, stamina, and ability to make the big play. In 1993 White became the highest-paid defensive player in football history when he signed a four-year, $17 million contract with the Green Bay Packers.
