In producing fourteen books of poetry in twelve years and in placing individual poems in a dozen Canadian anthologies and in hundreds of periodicals around the world, Pier Giorgio Di Cicco has proved himself a productive and perdurable poet. He has demonstrated a peculiarly Canadian ability to survive through small presses and to live in little magazines. He is one of a modest group of Canadian poets who are literary household names, whose appearances in books and journals seem matters of course.
