Sports Stars on Michael Irvin
Michael Irvin has always had a big appetite. Growing up in a family of 19, Irvin had to fight for food. Today, Irvin eats up defensive backs as one of the premier receivers in the National Football League (NFL). Irvin teams up with quarterback Troy Aikman and running back Emmitt Smith to give the Dallas Cowboys a potent offensive attack. This attack has made the Cowboys a three-time Super Bowl champion (1993, 1994, and 1996) and the best team of the 1990s. Unfortunately, Dallas players have also gained a reputation for getting into trouble, and in 1996 Irvin found himself in a court of law. Both the team and the player are trying to make comebacks from their embarassing conduct.
