Juwan Howard believes in keeping his promises. Before signing to play for the University of Michigan as part of the famous "Fab Five" team, he promised his grandmother that he would get his college degree. Despite leaving Michigan after only three years, Howard remembered his promise. During his first season with the Washington Bullets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), Howard became the first basketball player to leave school early and still complete his degree on time. He shows the same dedication on the court, where he became an NBA All-Star in only his second season. As the leader of a young Bullets team, Howard promises he will lead the team to the NBA championship.
