World of Genetics on Judith Goslin Hall

Judith Goslin Hall is a professor of Pediatrics and Medical Genetics, and is head of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She is also physician-in-chief of the Children's and Women's Health Centre of British Columbia. She joined the faculty at the University of British Columbia in 1981. Prior to that she received her medical degree from the University of Washington, completed residencies and fellowships at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and worked for 9 years at the University of Washington.

The focus of Hall's research career is nontraditional types of inheritance of genetic traits. Specifically, her research focuses on congenital abnormalities, genetics of short stature, arthrogryposis, Turner syndrome, neural tube defects and connective tissue abnormalities.
