Sports Stars on Grant Hill
Grant Hill burst onto the National Basketball Association (NBA) picture as an instant sensation. A fan favorite from the first moment he stepped onto the court, Hill became the first rookie to lead the voting for the NBA All-Star Game. The fame would have been tough for most people to deal with, but Hill handled the attention with grace. He also played great, well enough to earn 1994-95 NBA Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the the gold medal winning "Dream Team III" that represented the U.S. at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Hill has done all this while living up to the high expectations of his father, former All-Pro football star Calvin Hill.
