Geoff Nicholson is a highly prolific writer, having produced some thirteen works of fiction and two of nonfiction over a period of fourteen years. This consistently regular output has kept him in the literary public eye, and his quirky and daring subject matter has earned him a particular niche in current literature. He has striven with a great deal of success to resist a formulaic approach to narratives, and there is a remarkable variety and imaginative zeal to his novels. Nicholson's reputation is primarily linked to his wickedly risqué and satirical black humor; many of his works are seriously silly, taking the form of farces with dark undertones.
