Professional golfer Casey Martin would like to be able to enjoy walking along the beautiful courses of the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Tour. Unfortunately, he was born with a disease that has caused his right leg to wither to the point where a simple fall could force him to have his limb amputated. Though it would have been easier to give up on his dream of playing professional golf, Martin challenged the ruling bodies of golf in the United States in order to be allowed to use a cart during tournaments. He won his case and now serves as a role model for all physically challenged athletes.
