Superstar leftfielder Barry Bonds is the only player to win the National League Most Valuable Player (MVP) award three times. He won the MVP honors in 1990 and 1992 as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates and again in 1993 as a San Francisco Giant. Barry Bonds was born July 24, 1964, in Riverside, California. He is the oldest son of baseball star Bobby Bonds and the godson of superstar Willie Mays.
