As a science-fiction writer, Arthur Tenorio has displayed a penchant for exploring the unknown, a capacity for curiosity, and esoteric tendencies. He is an unassuming person deeply preoccupied with man's inhumanity to man and the future welfare of the planet. He adheres tenaciously to three basic Christian tenets: the brotherhood of man, good will unto others, and peace on earth.
Arthur Tenorio was born on 5 June 1924 in Las Vegas, New Mexico, on Ninth Street, known then as el Barrio de Chihuahuita. His parents were divorced when he was five years old, and he was raised by his maternal grandparents, Sósimo and Candelaria Lucero. His grandfather owned rental properties, and often Tenorio accompanied him on visits to his tenants. On these ventures Tenorio found playmates who have remained his lifelong friends.
