Dictionary of Literary Biography on Angela Huth
Angela Huth has worked as a journalist but is best known for her novels about contemporary English life, people's explorations of love and longing, and the simple human desire to be connected to someone--sometimes at great cost to one's self.
Angela Maureen Huth was born in London 29 August 1938, the elder of two daughters of actor, director, and producer Harold Edward Strachan Huth and Bridget Nickols Huth. Educated at private schools in England (Guilsborough Lodge School and Lawnside), she continued her studies at a convent school in Switzerland, then studied art at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the Annigoni School of Art in Florence, and the Byam Shaw Art School in London.
