You Came Back is a ghost story set in Columbus, Ohio. Mark Fife has just proposed to his girlfriend, Alison, and is ready to start a new life with her, but the past will not let him move on so easily. Seven years ago, his son died in a tragic accident and now a strange woman is stalking Mark telling him that the ghost of his son is haunting the house in which she lives. Mark soon finds himself sucked back into the past. The novel explores parenthood, loss, grief, gender, memory and religion.
