Two Kinds of Truth Overview
In Michael Connelly's detective novel Two Kinds of Truth, the grizzled Southern California detective Harry Bosch has two urgent cases suddenly dropped in his lap on the same day. First: his own professional reputation is at stake after a decades-old murder case appears to be an incorrect conviction in the light of new DNA evidence. Second: two local pharmacists have been brutally murdered -- in a way that looks less like a random robbery and more like the work of hardened professionals. Bosch is forced to pursue both cases at once, at all hours of day and night, chasing bits of fleeting evidence.
