Touch Blue Overview
Touch Blue is a young adult novel by Cynthia Lord in which 11-year-old Tess and her family take in 13-year-old foster child Aaron as a way to save their island's school from closing due to too few students, but also because they wish to give him a better life. Touch Blue deals with themes that range from the importance of home and family in a child's life to the understanding that it takes a long time to earn the trust of someone who has been hurt.
