The Unhoneymooners Overview
Christina Lauren's The Unhoneymooners is a fictional story that follows Olive Torres as she fumbles through a haphazard life in which her identical twin sister, Ami, seems to have it all—perfect luck, perfect life and a perfect relationship with her fiancé, Dane. On the day of Ami’s wedding, Olive’s luck seems to change after almost everyone in the wedding party get sick from food poisoning expect for Olive and Ethan Thomas, the brother of Ami’s husband and Olive's nemesis. Despite their apparent hate for one another, the two are suddenly forced to spend time together when they decided to go on Ami and Dane’s pre booked honeymoon. Over the course of the vacation, Ethan and Olive get to know each other better and before long enemies turn to lovers. The story deals with themes of luck, self-confidence, comparison, perception, and love.
