The Rithmatist Overview

The Rithmatist is the first novel in the Rithmatist Series by Brandon Sanderson. This novel is a fantasy novel set in a world based upon the inventions of da Vinci. Joel Saxon, a young high school student, wants to be a Rithmatist but will settle for learning all he can about them. A consequence of this ambition causes Joel to become involved in a criminal investigation that could end his life.
