The Restaurant Overview

The Restaurant is a novel about three sisters who inherit a restaurant called Mimi's Place from their grandmother. Written in the third person and set in modern times, the three sisters must manage and work at the restaurant for a year before they either decide to sell or keep running the restaurant their grandmother loved. Throughout the novel, Kelley explores themes of sisterhood, marriage, divorce, business acumen, and of course, food.
