The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald is a lighthearted story about love and fate that is unencumbered by distance, economics or age, as one woman's friendship leads to the resurrection of a small town in Iowa. Broken Wheel is hardly a destination town, but when Sara Lindqvist and Amy Harris discover their shared love of books on line, it is only a matter of time before Sara will take a chance and come to see her new friend, leaving Sweden for the first time in her life. Planning to spend a few weeks with Amy, Sara arrives only to discover that as she journeyed to the United States, Amy had succumbed to an ongoing illness. Rather than simply return home, Sara stays and falls in love with both the town and its residents - particularly Tom Harris.
