The Pedersen Kid Overview
“The Pedersen Kid” is a short story by William Gass. It was published in Gass’ story collection, In the Heart of the Heart of the Country. The story follows a young man, his farmer father, and their hired hand as they investigate word of a dangerous intruder at the house of a neighboring farm.
