The Mouse and the Motorcycle Overview
In Beverly Cleary's The Mouse and the Motorcycle, two worlds collide when a little boy from Ohio comes to stay at the Mountain View Inn where a little mouse named Ralph lives inside the wall of Room 215. Ralph has never left his room or talked to a human before, but, when he sees the boy's motorcycle, he forgets to be afraid and ventures out of his hole and into an adventure of a lifetime. The novel explores growing up, perspective, stereotypes, love, and sacrifice.
