Matt Haig’s young adult novel The Midnight Library tells the alluring story of what happens when a young suicidal woman is given another chance to live out her dreams. It is told through a third person limited narrator who focuses on the thoughts and feelings of the novel’s protagonist, Nora. The novel begins and ends in Bedford, England but spans the globe via Nora’s dreams. Haig tackles, among others, themes of loneliness, depression, hope, and love.
