The Loney Overview
The Loney, a gothic suspense novel by Andrew Michael Hurley, depicts the experiences of eight devout churchgoers and their newly instated priest during a religious retreat to a desolate English beach. What begins as a pilgrimage meant to cure teenager Hanny of his muteness escalates into something darker as the group encounters ominous local farmers, makes strange discoveries within their rented home, and grapples with the death of their former priest.
