Everything you need to understand or teach The Judge's List by John Grisham.
In the psychological thriller The Judge’s List by John Grisham, Grisham delves deeply into the mind of serial killer Judge Ross Bannick as Bannick tries to outrun Jeri Crosby, an amateur detective determined to end Bannick's killing spree. Because the FBI was unwilling to listen to Jeri’s speculation that Bannick was the man who murdered her father, Jeri resorted to a backdoor approach. She presented her case to Lacy Stoltz, a senior lawyer with the Board of Judicial Conduct, a governmental office tasked with investigating complaints against judges. As Lacy began to believe Jeri’s accusations, they hurried to bring him to justice before either of them could be put on his list. Themes in the novel include the duplicitous nature of a psychopath, vigilante justice, and the criminal use of technology.
