The Huntress Overview
Set in the 1940s and 50s in the fallout of World War II, Kate Quinn's historical fiction The Huntress follows three protagonists: a young aspiring photographer named Jordan McBride, a Nazi hunter and English journalist named Ian Graham, and a hardened former pilot named Nina Markova, who was once part of the infamous all-female bombing regiment known as the Night Witches. When Jordan's father marries a woman with a mysterious past, she beings diving deeper to search for the truth. What she does not know is that her step-mother's past holds more secrets than she originally thought, and that her destiny, Ian's, and Nina's are intertwined in ways she never could have imagined. The novel is told in the third person perspective, and touches on themes of morality, truth, and survival.
