The Grammarians Overview
The Grammarians is a novel by Cathleen Schine. The story follows the lives of two twins—Laurel and Daphne—who are born in the early 1960s. From an early age, they both take an interest in words and language. After attending college, they move to New York City to pursue careers and other interests. As the years go by, the twins’ sibling rivalry grows more dysfunctional, potentially leading to a rift between them.
