The Girl Who Lived Overview
Christopher Greyson’s suspense narrative, The Girl Who Lived, is the story of twenty-three year old Faith Winters, who survived a massacre at her family’s vacation cabin on the eve of her thirteenth birthday. The police classify the case as a murder/suicide with Faith’s father being the suspect. Having seen one of the killers, Faith disagrees with the police. Ten years later, Faith begins a search to find the real murderer. The search reveals family lies and unsuspected allies. Greyson tackles themes related to false perceptions, resilience, grief, coping mechanisms, and coming of age.
