The Flight Attendant Overview

In the novel The Flight Attendant by Chris Bohjalian, nothing was as it appeared. Flight attendant Cassandra “Cassie” Bowden spent what she believed was an innocent night with a man she met on a flight to Dubai. The next morning, she woke with the man dead in bed beside her. With much of what had happened the night before lost in the cover of Cassie’s inebriation, Cassie could think only of escaping from the situation. Cassie is pulled into a web of questions, accusations, and the world of spies. Themes in the novel include the dangers of alcohol addiction, the nature of espionage, and the beauty of second chances.
