In this novel, Avery Kylie Grambs bested Vincent Blake, a billionaire with a grudge who was determined to take Avery's fortune. Upon inheriting Tobias Hawthorne’s billions, Avery publicized her plan to give away the majority of her fortune, relieving herself of those who sought to do her harm because she was rich and powerful.
