The Children's Crusade Overview

In the novel The Children’s Crusade by Ann Packer, former Navy doctor Bill Blair hopes to dedicate the rest of his life to helping children. While he is able to help the children he sees on a day to day basis in his practice, he and his wife flounder when raising their own children. The novel deals with the influences of parents on their children and children on their parents, as well as the role of the mother in the family.
