The Childhood of Jesus Overview
The Childhood of Jesus, by Nobel Prize winning South African author J.M. Coetzee, tells the story of a man named Simon and a boy he cares for, known as David, as they try to forge a new life together in a strange and unknown city called Novilla. As Simon tries to adjust to the apparent lack of passion and emotional depth of the people around him, David starts to demonstrate unusual gifts and a unique perspective on the world.
