The Bad Muslim Discount is a novel by Syed Masood. The story follows Anvar Faris, whose family immigrated from Pakistan to the U.S. when Anvar was a preteen. He has an uneasy relationship with Islam, but he aspires to be more devout. In adulthood, he becomes a lawyer, and he eventually crosses paths with a group of undocumented Iraqi refugees.
