Everything you need to understand or teach Spring and All by William Carlos Williams.
“Spring and All” is a 27-line poem by American poet and writer, William Carlos Williams. The poem was first published in 1923 as part of Williams's famous poetry collection also entitled Spring and All – in fact “Spring and All” has no official title and is instead referred to as Poem I, but takes its unofficial title from the overarching title of the collection. The poem focuses on the poetic speaker’s visual observations of springtime as he makes his way to the contagious hospital.
